How does imessage group message behave with an android phone included?

Hello collective, I have an iphone and am deeply considering switching to android. one feature i love on iOS is the imessage feature with the group messages. My Question is this: How will the imessage group chat that I’m included in appear on my android device? The scenario would be a group chat of 4 people. 3 with iphones and 1 with an android device. How does the group chat behave or even exist on the android device?

I am not sure how it will appear on the Android end, but I can tell you that when you are involved in a group chat from an iPhone, your responses will not appear in the group chat and will instead be sent as a separate text.
