It had a king, a queen, a princess, a knight in shining armor, and a lightning bug the size of the princess.

TJBM had an odd day today. I did. The weirdest part was when my dad closed the sliding door on the side of our minivan, and the window in the back hatch imploded. The day proceeded to be weird when a large flock of wild pheasants paraded through the front yard. Their call sounds mechanical, almost.

TJBM has been waking up very early the last few days
I am in general an early riser. I wake up 6/7 days of the week at 6:26am. On Saturdays there’s usually something going on but my “natural” clock will wake me up around 6:30 and I’ll hit the “natural” snooze button until 8:00 at the latest. Oddly enough, I woke up at 9:57 today. It was a painful week.

Yes, I just discovered & recently purchased the most comfy heels for business occasions – these Ros Hommerson pumps. If you have to wear suits & heels for work like I do..I cannot say enough good things about these shoes. (And, my hubby found me a pair of used Doc Marten Mary Janes at the Goodwill for $4.99. I am beyond thrilled…LOVE my Docs.)

I can never decide which frustrates me more: The fact that I bombed out of a spelling bee at age 10 because the judge wasn’t aware that the word mosquitoes can be spelled with or without the e, or the fact that if introductions are left up to my mom, she’s always sure to brag about how good I am at spelling. I say, let’s just get on with life!
