Haha! I’d like to see Captain America get past Oscar the Grouch’s biting wit to grab that trash can lid. The Captain would also have to get past the stench.
Captain America. Oscar would give it up for the greater good.
Oscar would gladly give Captain America his trash can lid, if Captain Planet agreed to destroy Captain Planet.

Different generations. Captain America is a weakling at heart. He would never take Oscar’s trash can lid. Even if it meant saving the Empire State Building from Islam. No. Captain American would ask nicely. Explain the situation. And Oscar would give him the lid if he felt it was a good thing to do. If not, Captain A would take the next trash can lid, which wouldn’t have anyone living in it. Plus, he’d leave a tip.
