Could anyone lead to me to some gritty poems?

I have spent the better part of my evening looking for gritty contemporary poets, or poems without much luck.

I also enjoy unusual writing styles, I will use Roald Dahl here as an example. Many years ago I have a vague memory of seeing a movie about a contemporary poet that came to America from another country. The movie was in black and white, and his poems were in sub titles all the way through, does anyone know who this poet is?

I would love if you could post a poem or a paragraph of any unusual writing styles or poetry. Or any poem you consider gritty and different.
