I looked up Jewish names and I like ’‘Giza’’. Lol. But I don’t know about Jewish names…you mean just like Hebrew names? Or do Jews have titles or modified names or what?
@wundayatta There are many pronunciations – Lithuainian, Russian, Polish etcetera. We are merely writing it phonetically anyway – I have definitely heard Bubbala, Bubele, Bobele, Bobenyu, etc.
Mine is Yoel, which combines the covenant name of God, YHWH (or Yahweh), and el (god), and has been translated as “one to whom YHWH is God,” that is, a worshipper of YHWH. Bow down, all ye who read this.
