Why won't my Fluther photo change?

I get it when I use two different images with the same name.

If you go to my account, then to change your picture what do you see? Do you get a choice of three pictures?

It shows up as a picture of you kissing your cat on your profile, but a picture of you with glasses angled a bit to the right on your small icon.

I see the one with you in black, with a guitar? on your lap. It’s not the same as your avatar.

You delete the new one from Fluther. Change its name at your source to something you have never used before. Upload to Fluther.

It is weird. The pic on your avatar on questions is the one with you in glasses. When I click on your name, it is a different picture.

Are they seeing a ukelele and thinking it is a cat?

I am completely sober, and I do know the difference between a kitten (orange and white, with AshLeigh’s chin on its head) and a ukulele (and I even know how to spell ukulele).

@hearkat Ok, I am drunk, but I am seeing a black and white photo with a ukelele made up to look like a cat.

It’s supposed to be the Ukulele one. I still see the old one.
And I’m kissing the kitten, not with my chin on his head :)

I closed my browser and rebooted my device, and I still see a kitten. My fiancé sees the ukulele pic on his device. Bizarre.

I have never been able to change my avatar from my iPhone.

I just assumed it was a limitation of the system.

@Buttonstc, I have always been able to if I switch the the desktop version of the site. (At the bottom of the page)

Well I just switched to desktop and tried to without any luck.

When I click on the first field to choose the pic from my camera roll, it does not respond no matter how hard or how many times I try to click on it, it does nothing at all.

That’s weird, it has always worked for me. Until now

Actually, this has happened before, with an old member…she broke it twice, both times it was an avatar problem. I have no idea how we fixed it, but I’ll let Ben know and hopefully he’ll come to the rescue. :)

It has to be a bug that involves the way that Fluther uses Cloudfront to store avatars.
