Name that Metal song?

The lyrics have a sample in the beginning saying something like “in the beginning there was nothing but darkness; only man’s ravenous desire to feed” It was kind of doom metal. I’m making a game about the Hagfish and this song really fit but I can’t seem to find it! Also any ideas on how to relate humans to Hagfish?

OK… I’m generally able to help on questions like this, but you’re not really giving me anything.

There are a shit-ton of doom bands, and many of them use samples to intro their songs. And since you don’t know the quote, the song, the band, or anything at all about the song, and I left my crystal ball and tarot cards in my other jeans, I’ve got nothing to go on.

Also, if you’re planning on using a song that includes a sample for your game, you’re running into a ginormous mess of copyright issues.

Hm. Never heard of ‘em. Only a 5 track EP though, and just released last year.

They don’t have a guitar player? Just one riff, being electronically played over and over ad nauseum through the whole song. WTF?
