Meta Question

When sharing a question, I notice not everyone is listed on the "completing menu"?

Asked by zensky (13418points) February 1st, 2013

I hope I am asking this clearly: you want to “share” a question – you start typing the user-name – it gives you some options – but not everyone – as if there are some who are not “on” the list. And I checked – it isn’t a spelling or punctuation problem with the user-name. I know it’s case sensitive.

Thanks Lisa/Mods.

You have to get it exactly as it’s spelled. I’ve noticed this with jellies that use a _ in between two part or more of their name. But I’ve also come across the same thing.

I believe that the list only includes people that you are following.

@PhiNotPi You are correct. I learned something new today. I don’t know how useful it is, but I learned something.

@PhiNotPi OIC. Thanks.

Even I learn something new everyday. Or am told something I’d forgotten – which is the same.

Not an issue for me as i’ve not once done this.

Your mommy never taught you to share?

Sure, mammy suggested I share sweeties, buy your fucking own, these buggers are all mine!
