Where can I get prepaid service for my Verizon phone?

Asked by gambitking (4206points) February 9th, 2013

I have a Verizon iPhone 4S and I would like to set it up with a prepaid service such as Straight Talk, but from what I’ve gathered, it won’t work on that. Are there any services that would work?

Check with Verizon Wireless at the local shop. It differs by zip code. Here’s their web page for pre-paid smartphones.

@gambitking
I have a prepaid Verizon phone. I renewed on line. My husband has a plan with them.
There are many other less expensive companies now.
However I pay a hundred dollars a year.
I have a computer and ipad. I will not pay more for a Data Plan. I do not need it for personal use.
Smart Phones are still over priced.

The Verizon Wireless is not compatible with AT&T or most of the other carriers. The prepaid plans usually force you buy a NEW phone from them at close to full retail.
