Do they have moon pies in New York City or just scooter pies?

Hmmm. I grew up in NY and then later MD and I knew what a moonpie was, so I am thinking they sold them there, but maybe not? They were mentioned on TV shows, maybe that is how I was aware of them, and I do think of it as a southern product. My mom bought pinwheels, which are similar. Mallomars would also be competetion. I never even heard of scooter pie.

You know that’s something I really don’t know, I’m sure you can find a bodega somewhere that has both. I just stick with coffee and a muffin. I’m not a junk foodie.
