Possible software analyst career - what's a good salary to ask for?

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Comm Arts from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. I have very strong communications skills, computer skills, and interpersonal skills, and the company seems pretty interested in hiring me. This would be my first career. How much should I ask for?
