Lotus Notes (.nsf) to Outlook (.pst)
What are the most compelling reasons to switch from Lotus Notes (.nsf) to Outlook (.pst), Is specially Graphical User Interface is plays main role. I am one of Lotus Notes users using email client from last 7 years now want to connect from NSF to PST, and Lotus Notes to Outlook. Enthusiastic features of Microsoft Exchange Outlook attract user presently, Do I need a third party utility for accomplishing this migration if yes then suggest me the way how to run this task safely.

It depends. Some nsf-files contain more complex applications which can’t be migrated automatically.
And for the record: I prefer Lotus Notes over Microsoft Outlook.
Our company recently migrated all email inboxes from Notes to Outlook, but it will be years before we move the database applications, if we ever do.
I agree with @mattbrowne in my preference for Notes, too.
Did you know that Accenture is a Microsoft partner for Notes to Outlook migrations? Once during a press conference Accenture had to admit that there was no business case for migrating more than a thousand of their own Notes database applications.
No, I don’t know about Accenture. Is this Microsoft partner for Notes to Outlook Migration? Please clear my confusions…
Yes, they send consultants for free and then give you an estimate how much a Notes to Outlook migration would cost. Supposedly they built some tools that can transfer some of the application logic into Sharepoint automatically. The tools also flag Notes apps that require manual migration i.e. complete reprogramming.
okay….but i have bulk of lotus notes database which i want to convert into .pst format, manual method is very lengthy to my idea. I need a third party tool which completely converts .nsf to .pst without taking more time.
