How big is the pond? 20ftx20ft and 4 feet deep? An acre?

Are you worried about Wildlife that live in there? You could fill it a little with your water hose, unless there is some reason tap water might injure or kill what is living in there. If you are on public water then there are chemicals in there like chlorine.

If you live in the northern hemisphere spring is coming, and rains should be happening soon.

For the future if you dig is out deeper or angle the land around it to drain more into the pond it might help, depending on the land. Or, some sort of path for water to travel when it washes off your house through the gutter system, but I have no idea how far this pond is from your house, or even if it is on your property, so these suggestions might not help.

I really know very little about ponds, these are just off the top of my head, just brainstorming.
