Is there an easy way to find an old comment you posted on a Youtube video?

Asked by AshlynM (10684points) March 24th, 2013

Right now, I believe you have to manually scroll through hundreds, even thousands of comments just to find yours. If you get email notifications from Youtube alerting you when someone has replied to you, they do not include your original comment in the email. Also, in your comment history on your Youtube profile, they do not include your original comment there, either.

Maybe there’s some trick I’m missing?

Link doesn’t open.

Hmm, try this instead

Mostly I was pointing out that you can restrict a google search to a site; for instance searching for “AshlynM” only on “youtube.com”

I usually click on the video that’s in my inbox and see my comment and the reply in the ‘linked comments’ section. You could also go to the ‘see all comments’ and press CTRL+F then type your username in the box. If it doesn’t go down to your comment, press ENTER.
