Alternatives to reddit?

Are there any alternatives to websites like reddit or digg? But rather than people voting for what we should see they have experts telling us what we should read from the web.

So the websites says what is thinks are good webpages for us to read or what videos to watch.

I like Hacker News or sometimes lobste.rs, but I’m mostly about keeping up with tech.
