I sat in the car for the last hour because I’m off grid and have no TV and weak Internet but I have satellite radio in my car. What a nail biter! I’m glad they got him alive. Wish his brother would have lived. I believe he was probably the mastermind.

Let’s hope he recovers from his injuries so he can face questioning and justice. He’s critically injured.

The family of the brothers who are suspected says they were framed. I wonder how they can think that in light of the cold blooded murder of the security guard and the rest of the story.

@YARNLADY Well they are going to be charged with something. I’d be baffled if they weren’t the culprits of the bombing.

I think my first reaction if I found out my child was suspected of something like this would be denial. I don’t blame them for reacting that way. Eventually the truth will sink in. I’m heart broken for their family.

Are you kidding. I’d have to be Helen Keller (Deaf, blind, and now dead) to be here in Boston and not know it’s over. You should have seen the citizens of Watertown where he was apprehended and in LA lining the streets to cheer all the multitude of first responders and investigators who worked so tirelessly and efficiently to track the pair down. Cops don’t get thank-yous from us as often as the deserve. One young MIT campus officer is dead and a MBTA transit officer is fighting for his life in the hospital. The cities involved turned out en masse to say thank you to everyone who protected pubic safety to the best of their ability and put their own lives on the line to stop the carnage. I’ve never been prouder of my home town.

How can you not be aware? I don’t think I’ve heard one bit of news today about the explosion at the fertilizer plant in Texas that killed many more people. I also heard very little today about the historic flooding in my neck of the woods (Illinois). I think you’d have to live under a rock if you don’t know about the events that have unfolded today in the Boston area. (I hope I don’t sound bitchy. My frustration is with the media, not the OP)
