Yes. Just learn to see on your own. Learn to be friendly with businesses, throw your own shows, learn how to rally models together to wear your stuff hire photographers to shoot your models, get friendly with makeup people to do your models and move to LA, NY, or SF. These progressive towns are notorious to feed those who are starving fresh and new. If you can’t make it there then Etsy.com might be your next best option. My friend Michelle from M Dot Studios is a seamstress/fashion designer and she’s worked her brand from the ground up. She’s doing trunk shows, pop up boutiques and even has her garments in the trendiest places I’m boutiques in NYC SF la and has recently moved from San Diego to downtown Los Angeles. She didn’t take anybtrainin from school. She reads a lot, learned from her grandma and has the work ethic of a thorough breed! Good luck.
