Are women with pronounced jaws attractive to men?

Asked by boomboxbebi (7points) April 26th, 2013

I just noticed that most beautiful girls have such tight and pronounced jaws whether they have small or big jaws, it’s just so tight and bony! I get jealous because I don’t have one. Just pure flesh… Is it part of the facial structure or is it achievable?

It’s just part of the facial structure.

So long as they’re “blow-job friendly” then it’s all good.

I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

I met Lucy Kaplansky at a small concert (for fewer than 30 people) a couple of years ago. She’s a woman whose music I have long enjoyed, and who I expected to look a certain way based on these photos. However, when I met her in person, even though she had been performing, and so she was “on her game” and made up, etc., she looks much smaller than these photos and seems to even have a receding chin (at least while she’s singing). I only mention that to say that she seems “not as glamorous in person as she is in these photos”, but no less beautiful than she should be.

Let your talents and personal attributes be the presentation and personification of your beauty. I like Lucy even more, now that I’ve met her.

It’s been my observation that not all men are attracted to the same thing. And the same can be said of women. Lucky, isn’t it?

@Inspired_2write They’re photogenic because it’s all about the symmetry.

Actually to answer your last question in the details. I believe it is achievable, even to some extent those with a receding chin. I notice that people close to me and myself included facial structure seems different according to weight lose and gain. There are also facial exercises that tone muscles in your face. Though after some experimentation I gave up on these as time wasters and overall silly.

@Jeruba is right though. People have different views of attractive. Fortunately for us all.

Also like @CWOTUS observed inner beauty is overall more important then the physical.

Still I have been known to be jealous of people for silly reasons and observing the silliness of them doesn’t entirely change my outlook, though it does help me modify them.

On the other hand maybe pointing out the extreme chin: Jay Leno, Bruce Campbell, Peter Griffin, American Dad father, and who was that other person….. maybe can put it all into perspective for us.
