Why won't my boobs stop growing?

Asked by Mommyof3 (14points) April 26th, 2013

I am almost 29 and my youngest is 4. I am 245 pounds but look 175. I went from a 40DDD and resized in 11 months cause my bras are ripping apart from being to small. I am losing weight and they are sore. They just keep getting bigger. I am a 40F when sized 3 months ago. I am afraid to go in and get sized to get bigger bras when I have the money. Anyone know when or if they will get smaller? I have had a hysterectomy in 2009 and have my ovaries, they took everything else.

Go see your doctor for a breast cancer exam.

The type of cancer that causes pain and rapid growth is inflammatory breast cancer, which is almost always unilateral and also presents with discoloration of the breast as well as other skin changes. If they’re both growing at the same rate, I seriously doubt it’s breast cancer, but you should see a doctor anyways. They shouldn’t still be growing at your age, especially if you’re losing weight.

I have had similar issues. But mine is due to medications. If you had a hysterectomy are you on hormones? That may also be causing it. My beast size can vary from a large C to a DD and lately an E. So I find this question interesting.

Well I have noticed my left is a little bit bigger then my right but it is hard to tell they are so big. I don’t take meds. I still have my ovaries. I don’t have insurance. Probably should get some. I have had cervical cancer twice now I know longer have my cervix. I don’t understand why the are growing so much.

Like @WestRiverrat said, get yourself to a doctor immediately if you have any concern. Also, how tall are you? If you are obese, that can cause strange things with boobies sometimes. When I was 6ft and 200lbs, my boobs got huge in a short period of time. When I dropped to 155, they shrunk to a large B cup.

Regardless, please seek a medical opinion ASAP. Best of luck to you.

Five two. Well thanks for calling me fat. I will post a pic so you can see my fatness.

It’s not about ‘fat’ or vanity, it’s about body composition and medical facts. I’ve been overweight myself so it’s not coming from a judgemental place. Please get yourself to a doctor if you’re concerned. It could also be a hormonal thing.

For my height they say 125–135 is right well I have to much muscle to be down to that I can loose probably close 80 pounds I know this. So yes I know I am medically fat I will never be 125–135. My doctor knows I have to much muscle for it. I was at 165 before my kids and I had twins then one. I know I need to loose weight and I am working on it. I just lost 20 pounds this month.

@Mommyof3 That’s awesome! Congrats. And yeah, 125 is a bit unattainable for most people. at 6’, I’m happy at 170 despite runway models at my height being 120–130. Unrealistic standards.
