Would anyone care to state their support for the idea that the movie Little Man has striking similarities to a certain Looney Tunes episode?

Not so much in terms of every of the movie’s specific events, but the general premise is identical.

There’s an episode where Bugs thinks he’s raising an abandoned baby, when it’s actually an adult criminal on the run disguised as a baby.

For me that’s way too similar to write off as coincidence. It still could be, but it doesn’t seem likely.

Is it acknowledged anywhere by the movie’s makers that that’s where they got the idea? Have they ever been asked?

That was also a theme in Who Killed Roger Rabbit and in this month’s Piranha Club comic strip. So it’s hard to say where they got the idea.

If this is true, it changes things.

This may be off topic but I hated that movie so much. Saw it dubbed in Spanish on a long bus trip in South America and all I could keep thinking was this movie is damned RAPE-Y.

I’m referring to the scene where he forces the main female’s head down to get her to perform oral sex on him under the pretense that he’s just an innocent baby and doesn’t know what he’s doing. Disgusting. :/
