That I know of, most protestant denominations, and also Greek Orthodox. In Canada or not.

Isn’t it just the Catholic church that does not allow their priests to marry? I don’t know of any other Christian organised group that forbids marriage by their ‘leaders’.

I’m with @cazzie. The only one I know that can’t marry is the Catholics.

I’ve been Lutheran and United Church of Christ and both of them do. Can Orthodox priests marry?

@Judi Now that you mention it, I think some priests in eastern orthodox can’t marry and some can. I’m not clear on it.

I believe that some (all?) orthodox priests can be married if they were already married before ordination. They can’t get married after they’ve become priests.

@SadieMartinPaul @JLeslie Depends on which “orthodox”. There’s Greek Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, Serbian Orthodox…
