Is bloating, frequent urinating signs before your period is here?

Asked by kimchi (1440points) August 3rd, 2013

Well, I’m not pregnant I’m 13. And I never had sex. But for the past few days, my stomach has gotten twice as big and it’s really bothering me. Also, I had to go pee every 30 minutes like really? I’ve never had these symptoms before, and I’m scared. I’m 98% sure I’m not pregnant. I haven’t had my period yet, it’s about 1 week late. Please help I’m really scared.

Could be a urinary infection. Get to a doctor and may I ask if the only part of your body you are ever obsessed with is the reproductive organs? Are you maybe too panic-stricken over everything connected to that?

You are 100% sure you are not pregnant. You have never had sex.
You really need to tell your mother or guardian what is going on. It could be the start of your period, it could be a number of other things, none of which I feel I can say as I’m not a doctor.

You’re probably too young still, but those are both signs of ovarian cancer…..I’m not saying you have it, I highly doubt you do, I just remember reading those were subtle signs of cancer a few days ago so don’t freak out.

WHAT? I HAVE OVARION CANCER? I’M GOING TO DIE? I’M SCARED. PLEASE HELP ME! I’M GOING TO DIE.

CALM DOWN, IT IS NOT CANCER MY DEAR CHILD! I am not the nasty type, but are you really 13 or are you having us on here? IF all this is true and you can’t go to your mother, is there nobody else you can trust? An aunt, cousin, older friend(woman) a teacher?

I am 13.

Did you deal with the vaginal bleeding you mentioned last week after a fall (on either a tree branch or a metal pole)? Being 98% sure you are not pregnant makes no sense. Either you are 13 and a virgin or you’re not.

You need either to talk to your mother, a female relative, your family doctor, his nurse, or the school nurse.

Yesterday you wanted to die because of the shape of your legs; today your abdomen is distended twice as much as normal.

There are issues here well beyond what a group of strangers can assist you with.

Sorry. I’m scared.

Find someone to talk to…we can’t help.

Why do you say 98% sure you are not pregnant. Are you sure you have never had sex? This is not the time to lie.

Peeing a lot is not uncommon before getting your period.

When you pee do you get pain in your bladder when you are almost finished? Any pain at all?

Did you tell your mom you are late?

kimchi's avatar

It does not burn. I Swear to GOD I NEVER had sex.

Ok, I believe you. Then don’t be too concerned, I’m sure it is nothing very dangerous, but tell your mom. If you don’t get your period by Monday schedule a doctor’s appointment during the week. He will have you pee in a cup probably to check that you don’t have any infection. Maybe do a blood test. If you don’t have any pain I doubt there is anything very scary to worry about. Really. Don’t be scared. Since you had that bad accident the stress might have made your hormones a little whacky.

How positive are you on being a virgin?....98%?.......if you are not 100% positive that you are not pregnant, you need to pay more attention in math class.

Please go talk to your mother! Online people can not help you with this fear. Talk to her, and possibly see a doc if you’re that concerned about your health.

Seriously, get off the computer and go talk to your mom.
