How do I know if my mushrooms have gone bad?

Obviously, if they are really, really bad, I can figure that out. I’m just wondering when they have technically gone bad and what that looks like. More specifically, I grilled some Portabellas two days ago and they’ve been in the fridge, chillin’. :) Naturally, they’re limp and dark in color, since they were grilled. They smell fine…so are they?
