What is this going on around fb about humans (babies) getting foot and mouth disease?

Apparently it’s not “hoof and mouth.” It’s “Foot and mouth.” WTH?

I’ve gotten “foot in mouth” disease several times but not foot and mouth disease.

What is it?

Hand, foot and mouth is nothing new.

There is a difference between Hand, Foot, & Mouth disease (which people, mostly children get) and foot & mouth ( hoof & mouth) which animals get. Both are caused by viruses, but they are different viruses. People very rarely get the animal one and animals very rarely get the human one.

It’s a type of virus. I forget the type. Gets you sick as hell but general course is full recovery.

@Rarebear
a pity you forgot the name of the virus, but it’s a good thing then, that now you can follow @Judi‘s link, above.
