I love to sing to any Beatles songs.

“I’ve been workin’ on the railroad..”

There’s something about singing that song, being covered in suds, something just feels right

I sing along to whatever my iPod shuffles for me. Yeah, I listen to my iPod while I shower and I turn it all the way up too. The other day it played “Drop” by the Ying Yang Twins, “Me Love” by Sean Kingston, “Buzzin” by Shwayze, “3 Peat” by Lil Wayne, “Get Low” by Lil Jon, “Work It” by Missy Elliott, and “Pop Lock and Drop It” by Huey.
Yeah, I listen to a lot of hip-hop and rap.

@Allie

How do you keep it from getting wet? Even the water vapor would dampen it.

“I’m Singin’ in the Rain;” “April Showers;” “Raindrops Keep Fallin;” “Rain, Rain, Go Away.”

beast: First, there’s a fan in my bathroom that sucks all the heat/moisture out. Most of the time I move my portable speakers into the bathroom. But when I’m home alone, there are speakers throughout my whole house. I just set my iPod up to play over the speakers and I can hear it in pretty much any room. (Great feature for parties.) An just to clarify, I don’t listen to it in the shower, I have it set up somewhere in the room. Usually on the counter, sometimes on the floor.

@Allie- Haha, I so do that too. =)

I sing any song I can think of by whatever band/artist I’m into for that minute.

For some reason, I sing parts of songs repetitively- for instance, the other morning I kept singing bits of Break it Down Again by Tears for Fears over and over. My shower is really echo-y so it was kinda fun, plus I’m tickled by “just like Moses on a motorbike!”

and all the love and all the love in the world

Wonder what the neighbors thought.

You all should try singing some of the songs I mentioned in the shower. It is actually really funny

Currently its this new song off of N.E.R.D’s new album, called Everybody Nose. I don’t know why but I belt “you were meant for me” by Jewel a lot… And I especially exaggerate the part were she sings “I’m half alive but I feel mostly dead”.

Also another favorite is Boyz in the hood by EazyE.

I know, all pretty random.

Boot Scootin Boogie is my shower song.

I used to sing Angel from Montgomery by John Prine/Bonnie Raitt, Landslide by Fleetwood Mac, or Metal Heart by Cat Power until I realized my BFF and neighbor could actually hear me through the wall.

Now, I intentionally come up with the craziest songs I can (Pop Goes the Weasel, Mandy by Barry Manilow) but replace the words with her name, just to mess with her.

@playthebango – Why oh why nsync ::shakes head::

I guess its a matter of opinion. lol

thebeadholder's avatar

@ Trance: I think banjo forgot to put the ~ at the end of his nsync answer. Unless of course they added some banjos and fiddles in there!

gailcalled's avatar

@bead: I quote banjo (looking up) anything by nsync ~

thebeadholder's avatar

sorry gail, you are right. i am a little off kilter today…my eyes deceived me!
I sing absolutely nothing…

gailcalled's avatar

@bead; be on kilter very soon. Anyone who beads will have eye fits from time to time. My sis does and I have seen the size of the beads. I’d be blind in a week.
