Strangest: Baffin Island. Weddings happen at night there, apparently. When the bride closes her eyes, expecting a kiss, she is often rewarded with a mouthful of fish – it’s tradition to abduct the husband and exchange him for a giant, genetically modified mackerel. Yeah.
