I speak from experience inexperience when I say that it looks a lot easier than it is, which is why getting a professional to help you grasp the basics would be a very wise move.

There’s a lot to learn and understand in the fundamentals of the golf swing, and its something you can’t really get a complete understanding of by reading a book or viewing a website.
