Can I buy registration stickers at Ca DMV even though the car is registered under my moms name?

I typically buy the sticker online and just pick up at moms place but she told me I could just go there. Thoughts?

Mom has to do it. The registration requires her signature.

Where I live, there is a kiosk in the lobby specifically for this. As long as you have the registration with the barcode on it that came in the mail, anybody can go in and get the plate tabs. I just love it. No more 2 hour wait!
