Is your lurve total frozen, too?

Asked by Pachy (18610points) October 12th, 2013

It’s been at least a week since my lurve total increased by more than 1 each day, yet I’ve been receiving new GQs daily. Anyone else experiencing that?

People max out on the amount of lurve they can give you. It still shows up as a GA but doesn’t increase your score.

I think it is 100 points per person until it doesn’t count anymore on your actual points. It is just the way it is and everyone has dealt with it.

Thanks. I didn’t knew that.

I was confused about that too.
We all Lurve u so much we maxed out. lol

We max out on GA’s and GQ’s, but each one is a different tally. So there’s 3 points even though I maxed out on GA’s with you long ago. Does this mean I spend too much time here?

It’s time to suck up to the newbies…..

It’s the thought that counts, even if the points don’t ad up.

To paraphrase George Eliot…

“I like not only to be lurved, but also to be told I am lurved.”

GAs to everyone! Thank you!

Hang in there. Don’t let the points matter so much. It’s hard, I know, but you’re in good company.

Pachy's avatar

Oh, @Sunny2—I don’t care that much about the points. I just thought something might have gone goofy with the site while I was out of town and off the grid.

Coloma's avatar

I think I’m pretty frozen as well….but damn, at this point it is almost embarrassing to take notice of.

@Pachyderm_In_The_Room I’m teasing. Only somebody really silly would truly care and I don’t think you are that. I thought the same thing when I didn’t know and asked a similar question.

Ha! I just gave this a GQ, and your lurve total went up. :D

It’s hard for me being especially wonderful. Every time I type it’s like a cornucopia of wisdom and perfection flows fourth. I feel, at times, people are so intimidated that they shy away from giving me “great answers” as I make them feel inadequate. That’s my take on it.
