How do I burn a c.d. with iTunes 11.1.1?

Can anyone tell me how to burn a c.d. with iTunes 11.1.1? I’m using Apple OS 10.8.5.

If the songs are in iTunes already:
1) Create a new playlist
2) Add songs to the playlist
3) Command-click* on the playlist name and choose Burn Playlist to Disc
