What high school graduates have entry level jobs where they get nap time and recess?

Asked by talljasperman (21916points) October 21st, 2013

I would gladly work at McDonalds if I had nap time and juice boxes. Where can I work that its workers get nap time, and recess?

P.S. do billionaire’s get nap time in the middle of the day or is it work work work? Does it pay to be poor?

You could work part time and take a nap when you get home.

It doesn’t pay to be poor unless you’re on welfare.
My dad is a very wealthy man and had to work extremely hard for his wealth. He used to tell us kids that if he counted out his work hours he’d probably make minimum wage. He worked us hard as well & taught us the value of earning our oen money. We had a 5600sq ft house and we four girls cleaned it- under mom’s supervision. On weekends we had to wash the cars and cut the yard. The yard was an acre- One time a man stopped him while he was doing yardwork & asked him how much Mr. “Smith” paid him to cut his grass. My dad replied, “he lets me sleep with his wife.” Mom was furious!
None of his daughters have poor work ethics & none of us will inherit his money- we must earn our own! Perhaps more trustfund babies need a dad like ours. Oh, as for naps- he does take them now that he’s “older”.

I suggest you work at a daycare so you hopefully have a nap and juice boxes if you’re good at sharing with the little ones. Or just be “kept”, it pays well & has naps of a sort.

I highly recommend reading about Winston Churchill’s daily schedule when he was prime minister-he napped as well.
But he believed in KBO, which gets you through most problems- even fighting the Nazis!!

What’s your obsession with McDonalds? And questions regarding how you can make money and be lazy at the same time?

The answer: no job is like that.

I work a full time job and there is nap time and two meal breaks, complete with sippy cups and cubed up fruit and the odd bowl of warm cereal upon request. Catch is, we don’t get the naps, sippy cups or fruit cups, the babies do. I work in day care and it is the hardest and BEST job I have ever had.

No.

@astronut12 Are you sure your dad was being truthful when telling you that yardwork story? Look at this

@Katniss O.k. I’ll keep you posted.

@Katniss I think Google (or is it Yahoo) has nap time for employees and I think they have an on site sushi bar. They might have a basketball court so we might have a winner, but most of the jobs are for elite computer programmers.

You might be shocked that you have more energy once you start working. I can’t know for sure it will happen, but I know for me, when I was young and working I felt great about doing a good job, it gave me energy, confidence, and happiness. My first job raised me up out of a pretty bad depression in my teens. The friends I made and the things I learned the customer interaction, and the money, was very positive for me.

Why not work part time? Try it.

I’ve worked two places that let you take naps if you needed them, they had a room and couch/chairs for people to sleep in. Both had stocked kitchens so I guess that covers “juice boxes”. They did it because you worked a lot of hours though, so I don’t know if that’s what you’re looking for.

I don’t know any billionaires, but I know a millionaire who put a small bed in the window of his office that he lays down on for 30 minutes each afternoon. Sometimes he sleeps, sometimes he just thinks things through and starts again afterwards. Not sure on his juice box status, but I would imagine he can swing that.

If your goal really is “naps and juiceboxes” there are ways to get there and take care of all the other things you might have to. If your goal is “nap, juiceboxes, and no responsibilities” you only get one shot at preschool.
