Be it cream filled, cream covered or with cream mixed in; in your mind what is always best with cream? Thinking of cream that is naughty, not nice? Then you best jump to the NSFW Version of this question.

Do cannoli’s count? Mmmhhhmmmm. Coffee and Irish whiskey’s kinda creamy and delicious. Strawberries and cream.

Kardamom's avatar

Pumpkin pie with whipped cream.

And yes, OMG! @KNOWITALL cannoli’s are da bomb!

tom_g's avatar

coffee, pumpkin pie

Wait – cannolis? There’s no cream in there. It’s ricotta cheese, confectioner’s sugar and vanilla. Delicious, but not cream.

longgone's avatar

Apple pie and strawberries.

KNOWITALL's avatar

@tom_g Well, they’re creamy delicious goodness, so I counted them…lol

Poured over: blueberries, strawberries.

Mixed in: strong tea.

Blended in a recipe: quiche.

Whipped and piled on top: gingerbread.

5 cream apple pie.

Made with heavy cream, sour cream, cream cheese.

Then topped with ice cream and whipped cream.

I can’t find the recipe online or I would post it.

Cream and dark chocolate in any form is a winner!

Eric Clapton

Haha. I get it, @Blondesjon.

@KNOWITALL As much time as I spend in Boston’s North End (Little Italy) you betcha cannolis count. And I’m down with the other choices too.

@Kardamom Yum. Pumpkin Pie smothered in whipped cream just when Halloween and Thanksgiving are coming right up.

@tom_g I’m allowing cannolis since the filling is called a cream filling even though it’s generally based on ricotta cheese.

@longgone I just love strawberries and cream.

@zenvelo Now that’s an arcane taste. One kind of pie made of a hybrid berry that is itself the product of crossing two hybrid berries. Unless you grow them yourself, you wouldn’t get that treat often.

@Jeruba Splendid choices, all.

@Sunny2 I love the taste too. Of course, adding the cream to dark chocolate kind of defeats the inherent health values of the chocolate. But it tastes divine.

@Blondesjon Here’s to Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker. Very tasty stuff they produced.

Am I the only one who doesn’t like whipped cream? Just to

ETpro's avatar

@Adagio I don’t think, with 7 billion people alive today, that there is anyting that only one person likes or dislikes.

Haleth's avatar

Homemade whipped cream is the best thing ever. I really like vanilla extract, so I use a heavy hand with it. It tastes so much better than from a can.

ETpro's avatar

@Haleth Amen to that. Factory-food toppings will NEVER top homemade.

downtide's avatar

I’m dairy intolerant so I regard cream as a non-edible substance. Everything that is good with cream is better without it.

Smitha's avatar

Whipped cream and Jello!!

Valerie111's avatar

Whipped cream and strawberries!

ETpro's avatar

@downtide If it’s just lactose, there are great lactose free alternatives.

@Smitha & @Valerie111 Oh Yes! Yum!
