General Question

Is this significant (health question)?

Asked by Mariah (25883points) October 30th, 2013

It just occurred to me to wonder this. Sorry this is kinda gross, but….towards the back of my tongue, some of my taste buds are like….really long. Like at least a millimeter or so. This isn’t a new development but they definitely haven’t always been that way. Is this a symptom of anything?

Weird questions occur to me at weird times.

Not sure you didn’t mention pain… But you may want to read this…

I’m guessing, guessing, if your dentist hasn’t commented that they are abnormal it probably is normal. That is assuming you go to the dentist regularly. Maybe point it out to your doctor or dentist next time you see them. Even your GI doctor should be able to reassure you I think.

^^. The MD. here has said that it is normal. (See first answer.)

@gailcalled Then I guess my guess is right. She still can have it looked at in real life by her doctor next time she has an appointment to be reassured. Your not going to tell me asking her doctor is bad advice are you? Why don’t you stop?
