What is the best "virtual wallet" app.

Asked by josie (30934points) November 4th, 2013

I mean an app where I can store all the numbers and info about credit cards, my drivers license, my Global Entry pass, my military ID, etc. etc. in case I drop my wallet in the lake while I am fishing, assuming I do not also drop my iPhone in the lake at the same time.

What happens of you drop your phone at the mall, not in the lake, and a less than honest person picks it up? They now have all your info. They aren’t going to say “oh my, we have to get this phone back to the poor guy that dropped it.” They’re going to say “WooHoo! Shopping spree courtesy of @josie!”

To answer your question, I’m not sure which app is good. I’d be too afraid to use it.

@Katniss
That is why they make passwords.

Ahhhhhhhh good point!
I just looked at the virtual wallet apps in the App Store. I don’t think that any of them look very promising.
Maybe you could just get a chain for your wallet? lol

@johnpowell
I use the same “base” password and modify it by a formula that I apply to the letters and characters in the web address.
