Modern mainstream porn. Less faking?

Asked by SecondHandStoke (9522points) November 24th, 2013

This question deals with mainstream video pornography. Not niche or “fetish” (God how I hate how that word is misused) content.

My answer is yes, more genuine arousal.

Thoughts from the Fluthermind?

Not sure how it’s different from “older” mainstream porn. Then again, I doubt I have seen anything that’s not “modern”

Less faking?? You mean do the women truly enjoy it? I would have to add probably some do,the others are in it strictly for the money, the women get a lot more money for doing it than the men do,and the men have a lot harder job,ha,ha.

In order to make a porn movie as we know them, many of the methods used forcibly strip away much of the realism. The best thing you could get to more realistic porn is to simply film two people having sex.
This is for mainstream porn, of course. Although I’m not an expert, I fail to see much of a difference between older and newer mainstream porn, besides fashions and styles.

I doubt it. Nowadays with viagra and the like not even the guys have to be genuinely aroused anymore.

Instead of faking perhaps you mean less over the top acting? Everyone in porn is faking how other way could they do it? But all this ‘Yeah baby’, ‘Yeah’ is faking particularly from women.

If you are female most sex with strangers who you feel nothing for means pretty much painful sex so most of them are saying ‘Ahh’ because it hurts like hell.

I don’t even know what to say to this. Are you saying that a woman has to be in a meaningful relationship to have sex that isn’t painful?

^ She’s saying that since most films are produced is as little time as possible that often the engine gets revved before it’s reached normal operating temperature.

@Seelix Not at all. If you are being paid for sex to make a movie I doubt very- much you would be wet enough to really enjoy it. Yes tons of lube will help I am sure. Also getting it up the ass is sore too since there is no prep involved it’s just wham bang thank you Ma’am. I meant strangers _as in porn. Gimme a break I’m 51 years old and had my share of random sex.
