14 year old birthday party ideas?

Asked by CutieCupcake (85points) December 12th, 2013

I have obviously no idea what to do for my birthday. My birthday is in a kinda of a long time (beginning of february), but with all the holidays, I have to decide early so we are not rushing for a idea like we usual are. Last year, I went medieval times, and the two years before that I did a movie one. I had a movie one twice, so I don’t want to do that again, also all my friends always do bowling which I don’t want to do. I am not a tomboy, but also am not a totally extreme girly girl. I plan on inviting about 10 girls at most (depending what it is), and I live in wisconsin, so in february, it will be super snowy, so don’t say go swimming. Thanks for answering, and if you have any questions, just ask.

Is there a laser tag place near you? We did that for my daughter’s 13th. Lots of fun and then pizza after at a pizza parlor.

Or, can you go ice skating anywhere close by? My daughter did that one year.

What’s a party without PEZ dispensers? I’m also thinking you should incorporate socks in there somewhere too. You really can’t beat a new pair of socks.

How about a skating party, a bonfire, a cookout, (chili sounds good. Hey I’m a guy.), and cooking dessert over the fire?

Hey, how about a style party? You could have someone come in to teach you and your friends how to do makeup, pair clothing, style hair, dating etiquette etc. You’re at the age when you’re thinking more about those subjects. Maybe a group lesson might be nice.

What about a slumber party? You could dance, eat snacks, maybe rent a video, discuss boys, etc.

What about an ice skating or roller skating party?

I’m not sure why I’m coming up with so many thoughts, but how about a cooking party? Pizza, spaghetti, omelets, breakfast, ice cream sundaes, anything.

Is there an indoor water park nearby? Could you all stay in a room at a hotel with a pool and hot tub (with your parents, of course)? I love to do summer-like things in February/March as I’m getting quite drained from the winter.
