Big Mouth Strikes Again.

I just sampled a bunch of cuts off their greatest hits, and I can’t find anything I care for.
Bessie Smith , however, is a different story.

Their first one, This Charming Man. I loved that song, but never really liked the rest that much.

The Queen Is Dead
Please, Please Please…

The Smiths is one of my all time fave bands. It’s hard to choose, but those are my two absolute favorites.

My very favorite song ever by Morrissey is Everyday is like Sunday. It is actually one of my favorite songs of all time.

Really, no one is going to say How Soon is Now? Ok, I’ll do it.

Followed by Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want, despite the John Hughes treatment.

What can I say? I like my Smiths songs full of longing.

I truly am

The Last Of The Famous International Playboys.

But that does not answer the question.

I am also The Boy With A Thorn In His Side.

^^ The “John Hughes treatment” of The Smiths came courtesy of the band The Dream Academy.

I wasn’t a Smiths fan, but anytime I hear “Bigmouth Strikes Again” or “How Soon is Now”, I’m filled with nostalgia.

@SecondHandStoke “The “John Hughes treatment” of The Smiths came courtesy of the band The Dream Academy.”

Correct. I’m just saying it’s a mental association I make with the song.

Mine is ‘Still Ill’.
Ask me why, and I’ll spit in your eye.

Last Of The Famous International Playboys is Morrissey not The Smiths. Just sayin’.

^That’s why I said it didn’t answer the question.
