Asked by joeysefika (3098points) June 29th, 2008

Ok, for those of us who saw the latest Doctor Who episode we know.
SPOILER ALERT
*********************************************************************

That he regenerated but we didn’t see who it was; so who do you think it will be?

It’s Doctor Who, we don’t know that’s the end of David Tennant for sure! I really hope he isn’t going anywhere, there’ll be some kind of twist (I hope) that means DT wont stop being DW!

Yea, DT has had a relatively short time compared to other doctors although its always exciting to have a new doctor

I hate how they recycle their Doctors so often now, back in the old days Doctors stayed on for 6 or 7 seasons. I think it should be Eddie Izzard.

exactly tom baker was there for years. Where as Christopher echelston was only there for a season

I think he’s going to regenerate back into Paul McGann, since he kinda got screwed out of playing the doctor very long. Plus, he deserved a better script!
Also, is it true that there is no fifth season (sorry, UK – Series 5), only a couple DW specials or TV movies?
also, thank God for YouTube. Here in the states they aren’t even airing “Midnight” for another two weeks. I won’t see “Stolen Earth” over air for another month!

@AstroChuck: It is true, there’s going to be, I think, 3 specials. Also with Torchwood, there will be 5 episodes, 1 shown every day for one week. It’s going to be a continual story line too.

OhNO! The question it’s self gave it away! Friday night we only saw the last half of “The Library”. I so don’t want David Tennant’s time as the Doctor to end.
Also I love it when they mix the Dr Who with Torchwood. Man I hope it doesn’t take years for it to show here in the US. :P

cooksalot- we get an edited version here in the US too in order to fit in commercials. You’ll get the unchopped versions on YouTube about a day after it airs on BBC.
I’m wondering if they are going to give the Doctor more than 13 lives. Perhaps the Time Lords started him out with a whole new regeneration cycle for fighting in the time war?
God, I sound like such a nerd!

I just asked my son to email me the link for the ones he’s been watching on YouTube. Go figure I have to ask my 12 yo for the link. LOL!

You guys only have to wait two weeks and you sound hard done by. We have to wait months for stuff like House.

AstroChuck's avatar

Yeah, but do they chop the hell out of House? And it’s more than two weeks.

AstroChuck's avatar

Well, I guess now we know.
Pretty sneaky, huh.

joeysefika's avatar

I know!!!! I was pretty disappointed actually but oh well, If thats how is going to be.

I loved last night’s episode! Also, chuffed DT isn’t going anywhere for now! :D

Still i was psyched for a new doctor.. Must admit the episode was very good especially because it was 60min long instead of the usual 40
