Have you had a slowly enlarging goiter and, if so, how was it treated?

Have you had a lump on your neck the size of a kiwi and were told it was a goiter? If so, how did they deal with it? Can you shrink them?

It depends on what caused it but they can be shrunk.

Do you use iodized salt? Most goiters are caused by a lack of iodine. But only a dr can answer for sure.

I use different kinds of salt so I’ll start looking for iodized. But I’ve heard Himalayan is the best?

You need an endocrinologist.

You absolutely need to see a doctor. It isn’t just from lack of iodine that one can have an enlarged thyroid gland. It is imperative you see a doctor.
