What is a good insole for absorbing moisture in a shoe?

Asked by gunther (169points) February 24th, 2014

I’ve had the same brand of boots for the past four years, and I never had a problem with my feet feeling damp at the end of the day. I recently got a new pair of boots from a different manufacturer, and while they are very comfortable, moisture does tend to build up, which I’m not used to and which is somewhat annoying. I was thinking there must be some kind of insole on the market that absorbs moisture during the day while you’re wearing the shoe, and then dries out during the night so it can do its thing again the next day. I’m not sure what brand to buy because all of these insoles seem to tout their odor-eliminating properties, which is irrelevant to me. I need moisture absorption. Any recommendations for a good moisture absorbing insole?
