Bob Hoskins dead: Not so much a question, more a tribute?

Asked by ucme (50047points) April 30th, 2014

Just heard the sad news of his death at 71 of pneumonia.
Appeared in the best & my personal favourite gangster movie ever.
The Long Good Friday remains a truly great film, one of Britain’s finest.
If you have anything to add here, then feel free.
RIP little big man.

I never forgave him for Super Mario Brothers.

The same goes for Dennis Hopper.

I let him off for Mario Bros & Roger Rabbit.
Hopper for Speed, Waterworld & Mario Bros.
Shit happens

Just on the Rabbit movie, Hoskins himself said he’d never do a sequel, he was getting too old for all that bouncing off walls shit. Although I suspect he was just being polite.
