What are the last five words you've looked up?

One of my favorite things about the internet is that I can instantly look up every single word I don’t know. Check out your browser history if you can’t remember (but you should remember!). Or if you use a dictionary, just put down however many you can recall. I figure this might be a fun way to review and to learn new words.

Here’s my list:

Kenosis – the ‘self-emptying’ of one’s own will and becoming entirely receptive to God’s divine will.

Amphiboly – a situation where a sentence may be interpreted in more than one way due to ambiguous sentence structure.

Prospopoeia – a rhetorical device in which a speaker or writer communicates to the audience by speaking as another person or object.

Heteronomy – action that is influenced by a force outside the individual. Opposite of autonomy.

Superlation – exaltation of anything beyond truth or propriety.
