What is your typical wait for your doctor in the doctor's office after you have reached the appointed time?

I like to get to my doctor’s appointment before the appointed time. I don’t think I have ever gotten in to see her on time. Although she is smart enough to send a nurse out to take me to an examination room to take my vitals and then let me wait for her.

This is preferable to simply being kept waiting in the main waiting area.
