Anyone want to play the "What If?" game?

I can’t find where it’s been played in the past. Here’s how it works:

We start with a “What if…” question, for example I might post,
“What if fish could talk?”
Someone might reply seriously.
“I’d definitely stop eating fish.”
Or humorously,
“Boy, would we hear a lot of fish tales!”

Along the lines of call and response format of TJBM game.
