So will the 3G switch to edge or other networks if you don’t have 3G in your area? I have it somewhat, but it is pretty sparse up here in Washington.

That and the extra $10 a month both are reasons why I am undecided about getting one.

I will not. I have an iPod Touch and will wait for someone to jailbreak 2.0 so I can get the App Store applications and games for free.

Well the iPhone isn’t coming out at 6 it’s coming out at 8 a.m.. I am going to be waiting from 7 at a local AT&T store because they’re selling them too, with hopes that the two local Apple stores will attract most of the attention and I will have close to no competition.

@beast, they might require extra setup for the app store, also it’s going to be just like mobile iTunes, downloading is regulated by Apple. And if the maker sets a price then I don’t think you could get around the server with just a jailbroken iPhone.

People will buy the applications, rip them, and release them for free in Installer.

Ah, that makes sense. Or I suppose you could post it up on Pirate Bay and manually install with iFuntastic or something.

Don’t forget people, AT&T stores will also be selling the new iPhones and probably won’t have crazy lines/people every where.
