Any recomendations for a wireless indoor/outdoor video surveillance system?

My neighborhood continues to have break-ins, and our cars have been robbed several times. I’ve installed motion sensor floodlights, but I’d like to add cameras. I’ve been doing some reading and would much prefer a wireless system with battery operated cameras so I don’t need to run wires, and I’d like them to record. But I’m having a tremendous amount of trouble finding a decently rated system (that’s hopefully not too expensive). Any suggestions?
