Where do Chinese restaurants get a supply of ducks?

Do duck farms exist? Or do they purchase ducks from hunters?

Ducks are poultry and can be ordered from many sources. No, wild duck hunting does not supply restaurants, only poultry farms. shudder, I don’t like to think about this topic.

There are huge duck farms on Long Island, N.Y.and have been for generations.
