I have a 4 year old son named Enrique(Enreekay is how its pronounced) and im am stuck on what to get him for christmas and his birthday(there only 6 days away from each other).Does anyone have any ideas. He loves video games but he has all of the games that he wants for the 360 and I dont have the money to buy him an Xbox one because I recently was in a nasty car accident. So I ask again does anyone have any ideas.

Buy him some books; balance his reading skills with video games. Crayons, water colors, pastels and drawing paper to work on his creative skills.

For a young child, the suggestions Gail made can be bought from a dollar store or convenience store, like CVS. For less than $20 you can get him some things and he would be happy.

I fall in with the 2 above me. @gailcalled has listed the “classics” and they’re timeless for a reason. I would add Lego if your budget permits it. Merry Christmas.

A 4 paper with Enreekay embossed in gold leaf in the high left corner.

Toy dinosaurs, Thomas the Tank Engine trains, play dough, sticker books, and the things Gail lists. A 4 year old should not be spending his time playing video games.

Definitely not video games. Books always go well, maybe a bike, basketball, or anything active. Get him running and playing, not sitting punching buttons.

Good grief, do people actually buy video game systems for 4-year-olds? He will be happy with whatever items you give him, until they break or he forgets he had them. Some excellent suggestions above can be bought on a budget. Please don’t overspend for the sake of it – there is no need.

Go to Amazon.com and look up used pop-up books for boys.

Very inexpensive and not very used. No four-year old boy will care.

all very good ideas.and just for the record the video games werent my idea, and when he does play i make sure i limit his time and make sure he also is getting plenty of outside activities.i think i might get him A football.thats both of are favorite sport and i want him to grow up to play football so gotta start teacing him now. thanks for the ideas.any other ideas are welcome.

@pittfan20 It’s good to want to play football with him, but I’d recommend getting something that he can open and the two of you play with, on the floor, right away. A four-year-old isn’t going to want to open a present he has to wait to play with until the snow clears.

Well im going to get get him other things then just the football.
