What is your opinion of the art of Akiane Kramarik?

Looks like she could have a great future in set design. I’m not wild about the portraits.

I had never heard of her but Googled and found a gallery, it is definitely not to my taste I’m afraid.

She is clearly talented but it’s not art that I like at all.

Boring as shit.

I read somewhere (I can’t name the source, but I think there are many) that somebody else, maybe her mom, does those paintings.
Anyway, whomever it is, good technical skill, good use of color, but sort of to painting and drawing as Autotune is to music. No real human edge.

She seems to be pretty amazing for her age, but I seriously doubt she will be world famous when she is older. I don’t know why exactly, but it just seems like that is what happens. Basically, I would not invest in buying her artwork or something in the hopes that it would be worth more in the future.

Seems just a step away from using velvet for her canvas.

@syz And some of it reminds me of Keane (Mrs.)‘s work.

There is no way I could buy her art now. It sells in the millions of dollars for an original. Even the prints are six figures.
