I love www.blogger.com but I don't know if it's iPhone friendly.

Twitter is a decent 'microblogging' site, and there is an iPhone version. Also iPhonecolony has some blogging capabilities I believe.

Like Perchik, I too like Blogger.com and strongly recommend it if you're the type who does not want to tinker with the HTML/CSS templates directly (although Blogger allows you to do that too).

The current version is now much friendlier to non-techies because the settings pages are friendly and allow you to select and customize templates without altering a bit of code.

Their recent integration with Feedburner for tracking RSS subscriptions to your blog is also a plus, IMHO.

Blogger also supports mobile blogging, although I have not yet heard of anyone updating a Blogger blog from an iPhone. *Sorry*

Use wordpress (if you don't want to set it up yourself, you can sign up for a free hosted one at wordpress.com instead)

Why don't you give the PLink blogging site a try:

http://www.plink-search.com.

It has many features and its text-based interface makes it ideal for small devices.

Features Include:
- Use Dean Allen's Textile to make rich text content.
- Export your blog as RSS/RTF/PDF.
- Use your blog on your personal website using PLink API.
- Publish your notable posts to the PLink News Feed (on the main page).

- Ben.
